Templates
Templates are standardized messages pre-approved by Meta. They are required for:
- Initiating conversations with users who have not reached out in the last 24 hours
- Bulk sending (notifications, reminders, confirmations)
Lifecycle
- You create the template with text and variables
- Meta reviews and approves it (usually within minutes to hours)
- Once approved, you can use it to send messages
